Family-run estate agents Pendle Hill Properties have announced that their spooktacular #ShopLocal Halloween Trick or Treat Trail will be coming to Longridge this year.
The competition, which has been hugely popular in Padiham in recent years, will take place in Longridge during the October half-term (21st – 26th October) and comes on the back of the highly successful Pendle Hill Properties Easter initiative that has been running in the town for several years.
Over 2,000 competition cards are being delivered to local primary schools, with children U12 then being challenged to visit participating outlets on the Longridge High Street, to collect 10 stamps.
Each of the 13 participating outlets will be ready to stamp the children’s collector cards, with completed entries to be handed in at the Pendle Hill Properties office, at 74 Berry Lane. The closing date for all entries is Saturday 26th October.
The initiative, which will also encourage people to #ShopLocal in Longridge throughout half-term and Halloween, has prizes up for grabs for the three winners.
First prize will receive a £100 toy shop voucher, donated by Longridge Town Council. Second place will win a £50 voucher for Oh! Pizza, while third place will take home a sweet hamper donated by Pendle Hill Properties.
Thomas Turner, Sales Director at Pendle Hill Properties, said: “We are very excited to bring our Halloween competition to Longridge. Not only does it engage with the local schools and schoolchildren, but it also encourages people to #ShopLocal and visit the incredible shops that we have here on the Longridge High Street.
“We hope everyone has a great time taking part and we can’t wait to see everyone trick or treating over the half-term week.”
