Local businesses invited to take part in Pendle Hill Properties Longridge Shop Local Easter Comp

Pendle Hill Properties have announced the return of their egg-stremely popular #ShopLocal Easter competition in Longridge for the third year running.

In partnership with Longridge Town Council and Love Longridge, the initiative will once again encourage people to #ShopLocal in the town this Easter, as well as offering some Easter fun for local schoolchildren.

The ‘Easter Egg Colouring Competition’ will see posters delivered to local primary schools, with children then challenged to colour in their eggs, before handing them into participating shops.

Each participating shop will have 20 eggs to giveaway on a first come, first served basis, while the winning design will win a giant Easter egg and bunny, courtesy of sponsors Pendle Hill Properties.

With Easter just two months away, family-run estate agents Pendle Hill Properties are inviting local businesses, that are open during the day, to take part in the competition as a participating shop. To be considered, please send a Facebook message to Pendle Hill Properties: https://www.facebook.com/PendleHillProperties

The 2023 competition saw hundreds of children taking part but there could only be one winner, with Leah Roberts from Longridge C of E Primary School selected as the winner by members of Longridge Town Council.

Thomas Turner, Sales Director of Pendle Hill Properties, said: “The Easter Egg competition is one of our favourite initiatives of the year and was one of the first things we did as a business here in Longridge.

“This is our third year running the competition, but it is our first from our brand new office on Berry Lane and we are excited to witness first hand all the children taking part and their families shopping local this Easter.

“It has been brilliant to see the Longridge high street so busy in previous years and we would love to hear from local businesses who are interested in taking part in 2024.”
