Painting Padiham 2025: A vibrant celebration of art and community

Padiham Town Centre and Gawthorpe Hall came alive with colour and creativity on Saturday 17th May, as the annual Painting Padiham event returned – and once again, it was nothing short of spectacular.

This incredible community event brought together local residents, visitors, and artists from all over, transforming the historic streets and scenic landscapes into an open-air studio.

From bustling market scenes to the tranquil beauty of Gawthorpe Hall, artists captured Padiham’s character and charm on canvas in truly exceptional ways.

The quality of the artwork this year was absolutely outstanding. Both returning painters and many new artists delivered pieces that wowed spectators and judges alike. It was also fantastic to see a notable rise in visitors, many of whom were discovering the town’s rich artistic spirit for the first time.

Pendle Hill Properties were proud to support Painting Padiham as print sponsors. From the eye-catching lamp post signs throughout the town to the beautifully designed visitor guide, our contribution helped guide and inform attendees throughout the day.

Andrew Turner, Managing Director at Pendle Hill Properties, said: “It’s always an honour to support events that celebrate our local communities.
“Painting Padiham showcases the incredible talent we have here in Lancashire, and it’s great to see so many new faces getting involved.”
Congratulations to all the artists, organisers, and volunteers who made this year’s Painting Padiham a success. We’re already looking forward to next year’s event!
