Pendle Hill Properties bring festive cheer with annual cricket bat giveaway to local school children

Pendle Hill Properties have brought Christmas cheer to Year 3 children at Padiham primary schools after delivering over 150 cricket bats and goodie bags.

Students from Padiham Green C of E, St Leonard’s C of E, St John the Baptist RC and Padiham Primary received a special cricket bat, a selection box, a soft cricket ball and an invite to a free training session at Padiham Cricket Club courtesy of Pendle Hill Properties.

Padiham CC captain and Pendle Hill Properties Lettings Director, Toby Burrows, visited the schools to make the exciting deliveries and spoke to children about the free training session, which will take place in the spring.

Toby said: “We have had so much fun visiting local schools and to see the children’s faces when they got their cricket bats and goodie bags was just priceless.

“As a sports mad company, this is an initiative which we all love getting involved in every year and we can’t wait to see the youngsters again in the New Year when they come down to Padiham Cricket Club for their free training session.”

Andrew Turner, Managing Director at Pendle Hill Properties, commented: “Our local community is extremely important to us here at Pendle Hill Properties and especially at Christmas, it is great to be able to give something back. Merry Christmas everyone!”
