Pendle Hill Properties supporting winter coats campaign in Read and Longridge

Family-run estate agents Pendle Hill Properties have continued their support for the local community by joining the Winter Coats campaign.

Working in conjunction with local Rotary Clubs and Wrap Up East Lancashire, who are part of the national Wrap Up campaign, Pendle Hill Properties are collecting coats at both their offices in Read and Longridge.

The popular estate agent is passionate about giving back to their local community and regularly run initiatives to benefit local schools and communities.

As part of the Winter Coats campaign, Pendle Hill Properties are collecting serviceable, warm heavy duty winter coats of all sizes and ages to be distributed via homeless shelters, refugee centres, organisations supporting the elderly, women’s refuges, children’s centres, and other charities helping people in crisis.

Pendle Hill Properties’ offices in Read and Longridge are now both drop off points for the thick warm winter coats. Coats can be donated with Pendle Hill Properties up until Thursday 31st October, during opening hours (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-12pm).

Andrew Turner, Managing Director of Pendle Hill Properties, said: “We are proud to be supporting the Wrap Up campaign for the second year running.

“It is a fantastic initiative and one that makes a huge difference to people over the winter months. We are looking for people to drop off warm, serviceable winter coats to our offices in either Read or Longridge, which will then be passed onto people who can really benefit from them.”

Selling a property can be long, tricky, and expensive, which can be made more difficult if you have to go through the probate process. Whilst it can be tempting to get an empty property sold as quickly as possible, probate could scupper your plans. Read this article to discover the best way to handle a probate property.

As the founder of Pendle Hill Properties, I’ve been helping homeowners in Burnley, Padiham, Longridge, and the Ribble Valley for over 17 years. One important lesson I’ve learned is that relying solely on property portals like Rightmove or Zoopla is no longer enough to guarantee a quick sale.

Nestled in the heart of the Lancashire countryside, the villages of Longridge, Goosnargh, Chipping, and Ribchester offer a perfect mix of rural charm, stunning scenery, and a warm community spirit. These picturesque locations are more than just places to live—they are havens of happiness, where history, nature, and modern convenience come together.

As a property landlord, ensuring that your investment remains profitable is paramount. In an ever-changing rental market, staying ahead of trends and maintaining competitive rental rates can be challenging. This is where a professional letting agent can make all the difference.
