Pendle Hill Properties Trick or Treat Week returns to Padiham this Halloween

Halloween fun is returning to Padiham this October half-term, with local estate agent Pendle Hill Properties once again sponsoring the extremely popular Trick or Treat Week Trail.

The competition, running in conjunction with the Padiham Town Centre team, will take place in the Town Centre between Monday 21st and Saturday 26th October, with children tasked with visiting shops and outlets in the town to collect Halloween stamps.

A printed collector card is being delivered to over 4,000 schoolchildren in the local area, while cards will also be available in each of the 15 participating outlets. Those taking part will then have the half-term to collect 10 stamps from any of the outlets to enter a free prize draw.

When the children have 10 stamps, they need to post their entry in the door at Padiham Town Hall by Saturday 26th October. The top prize is a Family Meal for Four at The Lawrence Hotel, second prize is a £50 #ShopLocal voucher, and third prize a Sweetie Hamper donated by Pendle Hill Properties.

Toby Burrows, Rental Director at Pendle Hill Properties, said: “The Halloween competition has become one of the key dates on the calendar in Padiham and it is fantastic to see all the community getting involved.

“It is a great way to be able to promote the #ShopLocal message and to encourage people to visit the wonderful outlets that we have in Padiham.”

If your letting agent isn’t delivering, you don’t have to stay stuck. Switching agents is easier than many landlords realise and could protect your investment long-term. Here’s how the process works, and why September is the perfect time to act.

The UK property market in week 38 of 2025 remains steady, with new listings and sales close to seasonal norms. While stock levels are rising, demand is holding firm, keeping activity above long-term averages and highlighting a resilient market as we head into autumn.

Autumn may not be the first season that comes to mind when people think about moving, but it can be a surprisingly strong time to sell. Buyers who are still active at this stage of the year tend to be serious about completing before Christmas or the new year. With the right preparation, your home can stand out and attract motivated buyers even as the nights draw in.

When it comes to selling your home, small improvements can make a big difference to the final price you achieve. The good news is that you don’t always need a full renovation. With a few cost-effective upgrades, you can boost your property’s appeal and attract more motivated buyers.
