Ribble Valley View - Q&A - Park Homes

Got a question about Ribble Valley View - we've got you covered with our Q&As...

Q: Can I live in my holiday home full-time?
A: Your holiday home is designed for leisure use and can’t be used as your main residence. To help us stay in line with local regulations, we may ask for proof of your permanent home address from time to time. If you move or change your main address, just let the park office know—it's a quick and simple update!

Q: How many vehicles can I park at my holiday home?
A: You’re welcome to park up to two vehicles at your holiday home, as long as they’re on hard ground. If you’re expecting extra visitors or need to park more than two vehicles, just have a quick word with the park team - we’re happy to help where we can!

Q: Can I have solar panels installed on my lodge?
A: Solar panels are a great option for sustainable energy, but their installation depends on the structural capacity of each lodge. We would need to consult with the individual lodge builders to determine whether the roof can support the weight of the panels. If you're interested, we're happy to look into it for a specific lodge.

Q: Can I let my lodge out?
A: Yes, if you purchase your lodge directly from Ribble Valley View, you are allowed to sublet it. This can be a great way to generate additional income when you're not using it yourself.

Q: How does the electric supply work to the lodges? Can we choose our own provider?
A: Ribble Valley View supply the electricity and charges customers a fair, metered rate based on usage. They don’t make a profit on electricity, so you only pay for what you use.
