Pendle Hill Properties competition winner crowned after easter fun in Padiham

The winner of the egg-stremely popular Pendle Hill Properties #ShopLocal Easter competition in Padiham has been crowned, with over 260 egg-cellent entries received.

Over the Easter weekend and holidays, U12s were invited to colour in an Easter egg design before handing in their entry to one of 12 participating shops in Padiham town centre.

With the competition also encouraging people to #ShopLocal, each of the shops had 20 Easter eggs to giveaway to those taking part courtesy of sponsors Pendle Hill Properties.

An incredible number of entries were received from local school children, with the Mayor of Padiham, Cllr Peter Haigh, and Mayoress Jackie Haigh, left with the tough job of picking a winner.

After looking through the hundreds of entries, Jannah, aged 11 from Lowerhouse Junior School was selected as the winner of an Easter bunny and a giant Easter egg.
